I was pleasantly surprised at how smooth Dr Nault and Paula made the cutting, drilling and stitching. Sounds rough, but I think I actually fell asleep for a couple seconds. Patty Lee25 March 2026Dr. Long was recommended to me many years ago by my excellent dentist, Dr. Joyce at Behmard Dentistry. Since then I have had four implants with Dr. Long and today I had a gum graft procedure. Before the procedure I had done quite a bit of research and was told gum grafts could be very painful. My experience was the opposite. Dr. Long and his assistant Myshelle are exceptionally skilled and incredibly attentive to patient comfort. One thing that really stands out is how mindful they are during procedures. They don’t lean on your lips or pull on the sides of your mouth — small things that can actually cause a lot of discomfort with dental work. Dr. Long’s precision with instruments and freezing, combined with Myshelle’d attentive assistance and management during the procedure, creates a calm and very well-coordinated experience. I have had extensive dental work over the years, and after today’s treatment I truly felt compelled to commend this office. Their level of expertise, professionalism, and care is outstanding. He removed the tooth, debrided the pathological tissue, scraped the bone, inserted prf, installed a membrane, stitched it all with virtually no pain. Kudos to him and Michelle I had a follow up appointment yeaterday to check on how the gum and bone were healing at the extraction site . Highly recommend! 2024/10/23: This review is for the associated periodontal service Elevate Oral Health Centre, located down the hall. The quality of care and service is superb. I happily drive across town from Vancouver to West Vancouver for my service there because this kind of quality is difficut to find. 2023: Dr. Nault gives great attention to detail and to the patient. Has a very good chairside manner. I was very apprehensive (nervous) about the procedure he was going to perform but he made it quite painless and things appear to be healing well. They clearly care about what they do and improving how they deliver it, becuase they were able to anticipate patient questions and needs and had information at the ready to share with me so that I could make an informed decision. Through meticilous work , Dr Nault grafted my gums so they would healthy and strong enough to finally allow me to get Invisalign to straighten my teeth. Overall 1.5 years of work by Dr Nault allowed that process to happen 2 .5 years with Dr Jordan Miller with Invisalign... I now have healthy gums an straight teeth!! I have significant bone loss and slow healing at the extraction site. Alexandra Cutean7 September 2024I had a gum graft done with Dr Nault a few days ago. It was a procedure I was certainly not looking forward to, but it went waaaay better than I expected. First Dr Nault is a true professional - on top of his expertise, he has a great bedside manner; he is friendly, calming, and kind. He immediately put me at ease, explained what to expect during and after. The procedure took about 45mins and I didn't feel any pain during it. He and his assistant explained the aftercare instructions clearly. Dr Nault also called me the day after to check on me, and answered some follow up questions. 4 days in, healing is going well - I've had very minimal discomfort (nothing that can't be managed with otc pain killers), and the site + palate seems to be healing. Worst part is the boredom of the liquid/soft foods diet haha. Anyway, long story short, I had an excellent experience with Dr Nault and would highly highly recommend him to anyone needing a gum graft! 🦷Posted on Google
